Meet "Reza"

After few days of moving to my new apartment, I needed a haircut, as I like to keep my hair very short (so I don't see how much hair I m loosing) and I discovered that there is a hair salon in the ground floor of my building so I walked in and asked if I need an appointment or I can have a hair cut on the spot.. It was my first time in a salon for both females and males and the staff is mix too, so didn't know if I girl will end up cutting my hair, which is a first for me.. But then a guy with super long hair asked me to take a seat and wrapped the towel around my neck and started trimming my hair after asking me how short I like them to be..
And like anywhere around the globe it's so easy to start a conversation with a barber.. Reza is originally Iranian, been in Canada for 15 years, and seems the last time he went back to Tehran, he flew Emirates airlines but didn't have a long stop over to go outside the airport and he kind of regretted later that he didn't do a longer transit and get to see Dubai, so he asked me all kind of questions about the city, about the Iranians in Dubai, about the 3 islands that are the subject of political issues between Iran and the UAE, and we kept talking until we reached in our discussion "Googoosh" who is a great Iranian singer who stopped singing for many many years and only recently started singing again.. Googoosh has an amazing voice and her songs are so beautiful ( even though my Iranians friends there assured me that the translation of the songs that I m getting online don't give justice the lyrics of the songs..
Reza took his time trimming my hair and making sure to give me a nice haircut.. And the best part he was kind enough to give me a good discount.. So here we go, I found my new barber in Toronto..
And for you my dear friends here is a link to one of Googoosh great songs Mano Gonjishka (Me and the Sparrows )
